WVU dives into Virginia for Spalding, sign of things to come?
It’s almost hard to believe.
But the commitment of Dillon Spalding is the first prospect that West Virginia has pulled out of its eastern neighbor the Commonwealth since 2015.
It’s true.
In fact, Spalding is only the second prospect from Virginia to select the Mountaineers since head coach Dana Holgorsen took the post during the 2011 season. The other naturally being a wide receiver in Gary Jennings who is experiencing a breakout campaign during his junior season.
