2019 in-state prospect talks WVU offer, plans for return trip
West Virginia held its annual 7-on-7 tournament over the past two days and while Martinsburg (W.Va.) fell short in its quest for a championship one prospect now has an offer from the Mountaineers.
Class of 2019 linebacker prospect Dewayne Grantham, 6-foot, 190-pounds, received word that West Virginia was set to become the first school to offer him a scholarship after he wrapped up performing in the tournament.
“They told me that they like the way that I play and I’d be a great fit at WILL or SAM linebacker,” he said. "They think I have a lot of potential.”
