Columbia (S.C.) Hammond School 2025 tight end Micheal Tyler had already developed a rapport with the West Virginia coaching staff but wanted to get his own look at the campus.

Tyler, 6-foot-3, 220-pounds, did just that for the Oklahoma State game and that’s when he received word that the Mountaineers were jumping into the picture with a scholarship offer.
