Youngstown (Oh.) Ursuline 2026 defensive lineman AJ Snyder made his second trip to West Virginia to compete in a one-day camp event and put his skill set on display.

Snyder, 6-foot-2, 235-pounds, believes that the camp stop was a great experience overall but was impressed with how much more he was able to see this time around.

“I was really impressed with how beautiful the campus and surrounding areas were. What stood out the most to me the most was the energy and professionalism of the coaching staff,” he said. “Everyone was welcoming and made the environment feel like a place where players can really grow.”

Snyder spent time working with defensive line coach William Green and he received positive feedback with the coaches being pleased with what he brought to the table.

“They liked my athleticism and just me overall as a player,” he said. “Which means a lot coming from that great of a coaching staff.”

Green was also able to put Snyder through some additional drills and told him at the end of the event that he plans to break down his film and get back in touch.

Snyder enjoyed working with the coaching staff and loved their hands-on coaching style especially with how hard they got after it and brought constant energy.

The facilities also checked a lot of boxes for him.

“The facilities were out of this world and one of the nicest I’ve seen,” he said.

Snyder is hoping to make his way back for another visit to West Virginia and admittedly, is already excited about the possibility of doing so. He also plans to check out Ohio State, Auburn, Alabama, Florida, Florida State and South Florida.

“I cannot wait to get back there,” he said.
