Now that the spring evaluation period has ended the West Virginia coaching staff has set their attention on evaluating prospects on campus with a series of summer camps set for the upcoming weeks.

West Virginia will host four separate one-day camps during the course of the summer with those dates set for June 8, June 9, June 16 and July 27. Those dates will give prospects the opportunity to get on campus and work out with the offensive and defensive coaches in position specific work along with allowing the assistants to eye-ball those in attendance.

Running the prospects through many of the drills they will be required to do once they arrive on campus will give the coaches an idea of how each of the campers could potentially fit into their plans moving forward, while also allowing the prospects to tour the campus and get an idea of what to expect.

Several high-profile prospects have already indicated that they plan to attend one of the sessions, and in the past the camps have resulted in offers for several prospects including 2013 wide receiver signee Daikiel Shorts and current wide receiver commitment Ricky Rogers from this year's cycle. Last season the majority of the commitments also participated in one of the summer camp dates.

Registration for all four camps will begin at 10 a.m. on the day of the event and will be located in the Indoor Practice Facility. The cost for each camp will be $50 per prospect.

For specialists, West Virginia will hold a kicking camp June 9 with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the indoor practice facility. The camp will feature former Mountaineer kicking great Paul Woodside, who lettered at West Virginia from 1980-84 and was a first-team all-American selection in 1983. Woodside has mentored several West Virginia kickers including most recently Tyler Bitancurt.

The cost for kicking camp will be $200 per camper.

Finally, West Virginia will hold a team camp from June 12-14 with registration running from 2-4 p.m. June 12 at the Evansdale Residential Complex, or better known as Towers. The applications for the team camp must be sent in as a group by a coach and no individual applications will be accepted.

The same can be said about the 7-on-7 team passing camp, which will be held June 14 and 15, and enrollment in the tournament is included in the registration for the team camp. The 7-on-7 camp has featured several high-profile prospects in recent years.

In the past couple seasons, 2012 prospects Deontay McManus, Da'Quan Davis, Trevor Williams participated, along with 2013 prospects Shelton Gibson, Dajaun Drennon, Ryan Switzer, Myles Nash and Zaire Williams, and multiple 2014 prospects.

As was the case with the team registration, the applications must be sent in as a group by a coach. And multiple teams from the same school can participate such as the case of the 2012 winners Timber Creek in New Jersey.

The cost for the team camp will be $250 per camper and $125 per coach, while the 7-on-7 team passing camp will be $300 per team + $20 per overnight camper.
