Coming off a narrow defeat to Virginia Tech in the season opener, West Virginia will play host to a familiar foe when East Carolina comes to town.
The Pirates, who are coming off a 34-14 loss to FCS James Madison, will travel to Morgantown for the 22nd meeting all-time between the two schools.

Yes, this is the same Pirates football team that just lost to FCS defending national champion James Madison 34-14 at home, but every game is different and the Mountaineers will have to change gears quickly. What happened on Fed-Ex Field is done and over, that can’t be changed.
