Looking at contract details for the 10 West Virginia football assistants

The West Virginia Mountaineers football program now has all 10 assistants under contract.

West Virginia now has 10 assistants after completing its coaching staff with the hiring of new outside linebackers coach Dontae Wright from Western Michigan.

Wright had spent two seasons with the Broncos as the safeties coach while having previous stints as a defensive coordinator at Tennessee Tech and again at Morehead State. He also was responsible for specialists, defensive ends and as well as recruiting coordinator between those two stops.

The Kentucky native spent time at Centre College and North Alabama after serving as a graduate assistant at Kentucky from 2007-09 working with the linebackers and defensive line.

A former player at Miami (Oh.), Wright is now signed to a two-year deal with a base salary of $175,000, information that was obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request.

WVSports.com looks at the entire pool of assistants to see where the Mountaineers currently stack up with the contract details with the base salary for each.

OFFENSE:

--Offensive coordinator Gerad Parker
-- two-year deal. Will start at $525,000 through Feb. 21, 2021 and then jump to $550,000 March 1, 2021. Contract until Feb. 28, 2022.

--Assistant head coach/offensive line Matt Moore
-- initial two-year deal. $425,000. Contract until Feb. 28, 2021.

--Co-offensive coordinator/running backs coach Chad Scott
-- initial two-year deal. $400,000. Contract until Feb. 28, 2021.

--Tight ends/inside wide receiver Travis Trickett
-- initial two-year deal. $225,000. Contract until Feb. 28, 2021.

--Quarterbacks Sean Reagan
-- initial two-year deal. $200,000. Contract until Feb. 28, 2021.

DEFENSE:

--Defensive coordinator Vic Koenning
-- initial three-year deal. $650,000 but beginning March 1, 2020 it will increase to $675,000 and March 1, 2021 it will increase to $700,000. Contract until Feb. 28, 2022.

--Inside linebackers and special teams coordinator Jeff Koonz
-- two-year deal. Will start at $200,000 through Jan. 31, 2021 and then jump to $325,000 Feb. 1, 2021. Contract until Feb. 28, 2022.

--Secondary Jahmile Addae
-- initial two-year deal. $305,000. Contract until Feb. 28, 2021.

--Defensive line Jordan Lesley
-- initial two-year deal. $250,000. Contract until Feb. 28, 2021.

--Outside linebackers Dontae Wright
-- two-year deal. $175,000 Contract until Feb. 28, 2022.

**These totals do not include annual performance incentives, athletic apparel, relocation stipends or retention incentives.
