West Virginia is in search of offensive linemen and one that is certainly on the radar for the Mountaineers out of the transfer portal is North Carolina State offensive lineman Robby Martin.

Martin, 6-foot-3, 302-pounds is a name that is plenty familiar considering the fact that he played his high school football at Huntington and was a key target for the former coaching staff in the 2024 class.

He elected to sign with the Wolfpack but spent only one season there before entering the portal.

And while it’s a new coaching staff in Morgantown, there is definitely plenty of interest between the two Martin confirmed.

The West Virginia coaching staff has already been in contact with Martin and the two are working on setting up an official visit to Morgantown.

Martin visited the Mountaineers during his initial recruitment multiple times but this will be his first time to sit down with Rich Rodriguez’s coaching staff.

Martin confirmed that he has been in contact with the offensive line coach from the Mountaineers.

“We just got to set a date,” he said.

Martin would have four seasons of eligibility remaining in his college career.
