Huntington (W.Va.) Spring Valley 2019 offensive lineman Doug Nester is quickly emerging as one of the top prospects in his recruiting class and the in-state prospect released his top five Monday afternoon.

Nester, 6-foot-4, 280-pounds, lists West Virginia, Ohio State, Alabama, Florida and Virginia Tech as the five schools that are currently standing out.

The Rivals.com four-star prospect received his first offer from West Virginia and has been on campus multiple times in the past several seasons. He also has visited the rest of his finalists with the most recent trip coming with a stop at Alabama for a camp.

Nester is expected to return to West Virginia for another unofficial visit later this month for the Mountaineers 7-on-7 and big-man camp.

Rated as a 5.9 four-star prospect, Nester has already garnered offers from many of the nation's elite programs but plans to focus on only these five schools moving forward.
