Easley (S.C.) Powdersville linebacker Jalen Rambert hadn’t been talking to West Virginia long but the Mountaineers are now squarely in the picture after extending a scholarship offer.

Rambert, 6-foot-2, 240-pounds, had been in contact with defensive coordinator Jordan Lesley and is being recruited to fill a role as a linebacker in the West Virginia defensive scheme.
