2026 LB Moore enjoys West Virginia camp stop

Pittsburgh (Pa.) Woodland Hills 2026 linebacker Zykir Moore visited West Virginia for the first one-day camp of the summer and enjoyed the experience.

Moore, 6-foot-1, 205-pounds, thought the camp was smooth and enjoyed being able to work with inside linebackers coach Jeff Koonz during the course of the event.

“I love the coaches and when I worked with them it was like we were seeing eye to eye,” he said.

Koonz was impressed with what Moore was able to do on the field and he made it no secret that he put his best foot forward with his overall efforts.

“They like that I’m very versatile and violent,” he said.

The goal for Moore is to continue to add weight to his frame and refine his overall craft.

Moore has already been to West Virginia on several instances and plans to return yet again for another look either later this summer or in the fall.

“I love the staff. I’ll be up there again for sure,” he said.

Moore already holds a handful of scholarship offers but is looking for a program that is loyal with how they treat their kids and the type of campus each school has to offer.
