Another on board

West Virginia added another commitment to its growing 2013 recruiting class when a running back from Elkton (Md.) Eastern Christian Academy became the 13th pledge and selected the Mountaineers.
Wendell Smallwood, 5-foot-11, 194-pounds, made the decision to pledge to West Virginia after taking two visits to campus over the summer and favoring the Mountaineers for much of the process.

He competed in the one-day camp in June and impressed, and made a return visit to campus to get a better look at the program in July.
The Rivals.com three-star built a close relationship with the coaching staff and believes his skill set is a perfect fit for the Mountaineers offense.
A teammate of current wide receiver commitment Daikiel Shorts, Smallwood becomes the third running back pledge in this class joining Sicklerville (N.J.) Timber Creek running back Zaire Williams and Hermitage (Pa.) Hickory tailback DeShawn Coleman.
WVSports.com will have more with Smallwood including a full interview.
