MIAMI – West Virginia is one of the schools that has made an early impression on Miami (Fla.) Palmetto athlete Derrick Edwards at this early stage of his recruitment.

Edwards, 5-foot-11, 165-pounds, lists the Mountaineers among his top options along with Miami, Florida State, Tennessee and Auburn in large part because of the connection he has forged with inside wide receivers coach Travis Trickett.
