Orlando (Fla.) Lake Nona defensive end Zane Durant has been in contact with the West Virginia coaches for quite some time and that has allowed them to build a strong bond.

Durant, 6-foot-1, 225-pounds, has held an offer from the program for over a year which has let him get to know and get comfortable with various coaches on the staff.
