Valdosta (Ga.) cornerback Jayce Rogers has been eyeing a visit to West Virginia since the Mountaineers first jumped into the picture with a scholarship offer and now that date is set for later this month.

Rogers, 5-foot-8, 160-pounds, has been a priority of the coaching staff since the Mountaineers first extended a scholarship offer remaining in constant contact and visiting him twice during the evaluation period.

Cornerbacks coach Doug Belk has been primarily responsible for the pursuit of Rogers and the two have developed a very close connection to this point in the process.
