LB Barthiel has instant connection with Scott, plans West Virginia visit
Lakeland (Fla.) Lake Gibson linebacker Gavin Barthiel doesn’t know too much about the West Virginia football program just yet but he does like assistant coach Chad Scott.
Barthiel, 6-foot-1, 205-pounds, received a scholarship offer from the Mountaineers running backs coach earlier this month and immediately the two hit it off.
