McGriff on board with West Virginia, examining junior college recruiting

McGriff is the first junior college prospect to commit to the West Virginia Mountaineers program in the 2021 class.

Senatobia (Miss.) Northwest Mississippi C.C. defensive lineman Nijel McGriff is now committed to West Virginia but there are still some interesting things to consider moving forward.

That’s because McGriff is a junior college prospect and the National Junior College Athletic Association just voted to move football from the fall to the spring in response to COVID-19.
