ORLANDO – Ocala (Fla.) Trinity Catholic offensive lineman Jake Slaughter was scheduled to take a visit to West Virginia in January but was unable to make the trip.

Now, a possible visit could be on deck later this spring.

Slaughter, 6-foot-5, 310-pounds, has collected offers from West Virginia, Florida State, Miami, Georgia Tech, Arkansas, Mississippi and Rutgers, among others, and at this stage hasn’t started to sort out a list of possible favorites.
