Sometimes you can find players when you don’t even know you’re looking for them.

That was certainly the case for Jordan Lesley when it came to his pursuit of Navarre (Fla.) defensive lineman Jordan Jefferson, or JJ as he would affectionately become known.

The story started innocently enough as Lesley, then an assistant at Troy, was at the Emerald Coast region high school in the spring evaluating period scouting a different player altogether.
