West Virginia has moved one step closer toward utilizing the available scholarships to address the major needs across the 2022 football roster.

The Mountaineers received a commitment from Georgia Tech defensive lineman Mike Lockhart essentially giving the program a replacement of sorts for the departure of Akheem Mesidor. No, not a direct replacement but Lockhart certainly fills a hole left behind by the loss of the two-year starter.
