What's on your mind with the West Virginia teams or recruiting?
We tackle it and provide you with the answers.
Could you give a quick overview of the different defensive positions, their responsibilities, and the type of players we'd recruit at each position?
West Virginia will play with three defensive linemen – a five-technique (defensive end), a nose guard and a three-technique defensive tackle. Those aren’t too much different than what you’ve become accustomed to outside of the fact that the nose guard isn’t going to a true zero space eater and instead more in the mold of a traditional defensive tackle type.
