Mentor (Oh.) 2025 quarterback Scotty Fox had visited West Virginia before but his most recent trip for the Backyard Brawl was an eye-opening experience.

Fox, 6-foot-2, 208-pounds, visited Morgantown for the Gold-Blue game in the spring and then again to compete in a one-day camp this past summer but this trip was different.
