West Virginia had been recruiting Washington (D.C.) St. John's College offensive guard Colin Henrich since September but the Mountaineers took another significant step by extending a scholarship offer.

Henrich, 6-foot-3, 310-pounds, made his first visit to West Virginia for the Mountaineers junior day event and walked away not only with a positive feeling about the program but a new scholarship offer.
