Cuthbertson High School head coach David Johnson believes that quarterback Austin Kendall is the most competitive player that he has been around during his time in the business.

Kendall, now a graduate transfer at West Virginia, played for two years under Johnson and endeared himself to him as well as his teammates through not only his play in games but how he handled practice as well.
