West Virginia football adjusting to new landscape when adding transfers

Given the current state of campus visits shut down through at least the end of July, it was a foregone conclusion that if West Virginia wanted to fill holes with graduate transfer options they’d have to do it going outside of their normal comfort zone.

That zone involves Mountaineers head coach Neal Brown personally vetting each player they add to the program usually by first getting to know them and then capped off with an official or unofficial visit.
