Nick Kwiatkoski wasn’t always a linebacker.

In fact, out of high school he stood only 6-foot-2, 195-pounds and was being primarily recruited as a defensive back and wide receiver out of traditional powerhouse Bethel Park (Pa.) High School.

Kwiatkoski was lightly recruited at the time generating only offers from West Virginia, Boston College and Bowling Green while several others kept him at an arm’s distance.
