West Virginia transfer portal additions playing significant roles
West Virginia was active this off-season attempting to rebuild the roster.
The Mountaineers added eight new scholarship players after a 16-17 season a year ago and two high level walk-on candidates.
A total of half of those new additions came from the transfer portal, with four of those already playing for the team and another in guard Jose Perez set to join the active roster around the time that Big 12 Conference play begins in late December.
