West Virginia uses the art of the flip to build 2021 class
West Virginia has certainly benefited from the good old-fashioned flip in the 2021 recruiting class.
The list includes Auburndale (Fla.) safety Aubrey Burks (Indiana), Cocoa (Fla.) safety Davis Mallinger (Central Florida), Miami (Fla.) rush linebacker Ja’Corey Hammett (Miami) and Jackson (Oh.) tight end Treylan Davis (Cincinnati).
It’s just another example of the persistence shown by this coaching staff in the 2021 cycle despite the current restrictions that are in place.
But it certainly wasn't easy.
