West Virginia was admittedly a big scholarship offer for Wake Forest (N.C.) Heritage 2019 linebacker Drake Thomas.

That’s because both of his parents are originally from Fairmont, West Virginia, around 20-minutes from Morgantown, and the majority of his family still resides in the area.

Several of his family members also have attended school at West Virginia and he has been to at least five or six games in the past.
