Vic Koenning had been through West Virginia one time in his almost 30 years of coaching.

That number is set to go up quite a bit.

Koenning was named defensive coordinator at West Virginia by head coach Neal Brown and will bring with him a run of success that has stretched from a number of conferences over the year with stops at Illinois, North Carolina, Kansas State and Clemson along the way.
