West Virginia men's basketball now knows their conference opponents for the 2024-2025 season.
The Big 12 announced WVU will face five teams home-and-away, five solely at home, and five on the road, completing a 20-game league schedule.
WVU will face BYU, Cincinnati, Houston, TCU, and Utah, both home and away this season. WVU will face Baylor, Colorado, Kansas, Kansas State, and Texas Tech only on the road. Arizona, Arizona State, UCF, Iowa State, and Oklahoma State will be home games for WVU this upcoming season.
This will be the first year of the fully expanded Big 12. Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, and Utah are set to officially join the league in the coming days. The league is also saying goodbye to Oklahoma and Texas.
WVU is led by first-year head coach Darian DeVries who will be a head coach in a power conference for the first time in his career.
West Virginia opens their season on Nov. 4 against Robert Morris at the WVU Coliseum, while a full Big 12 schedule will be released at a later date.
