Eligibility concerns clearing up for West Virginia, college football?
Eligibility concerns have been front and center of the issues for student athletes in regards to a college football season this fall and now we have clarity on how it will be handled.
The NCAA Division I Council approved to provide a blanket extra season of eligibility for all fall sports, which obviously includes football. The year essentially gives players an eligibility clock of six years to play five season of competition outside of the normal five years to play for four during their careers.
