Holgorsen's Take: Big 12 Teleconference

DISCUSS: Visit the Blue Lot to discuss West Virginia all year long

West Virginia will enter this weekend an overwhelming favorite against FCS program Delaware State, but the Mountaineers respect all opponents on the schedule.

Head coach Dana Holgorsen admitted that sometime you do have to use different motivational tactics for some games, but the Mountaineers still have plenty of things to improve upon themselves and will prepare the same way.

"You only get 12 of them a year," he said.

Holgorsen said that each of the three long term injuries on the team to redshirt sophomore linebacker David Long (knee), redshirt freshman offensive lineman Jacob Buccigrossi (knee) and redshirt senior offensive lineman Grant Lingafelter (leg) are still considered day-to-day.

"Coming along, don't know if it will be this week, next week or the week after that," Holgorsen said.

The head man said he was pleased to see the Big 12 Conference represent itself well out of conference this past weekend but noted that the league has five teams in the top 25. He continued to offer support for the marquee out of conference matchups.
