James: "WVU really wants me"
Richmond Hill (Ga.) wide receiver Sam James was already a priority for the West Virginia coaching staff, but after a highly impressive camp performance Wednesday afternoon the Mountaineers will likely only turn up the heat even more on their pursuit of the speedster.
James, 6-foot-1, 160-pounds, was the standout performer flashing his excellent speed along with body control and ability to haul in the football. And the West Virginia coaches took notice.
“They really liked me and they are trying to fight over whether I’d play wide receiver or defense. They really want me here,” he said.
