West Virginia played Oklahoma State in the next to last week of the 2019 season and now goes on the road to open the Big 12 Conference schedule against the Cowboys in 2020.

Typically, that could be looked at as advantageous given the relatively quick turnaround between the games, but this meeting is between two very different teams at least on one side of the ball.
