Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage athlete Jacolby Spells is nearing the finish line in his recruitment.

Spells, 5-foot-11, 176-pounds, plans to announce his decision July 4 between his three finalists West Virginia, Miami and Indiana after taking official visits to all three programs.
